Home ownership is often the largest single emotional and financial investment my customers will ever make. Whether making an informed home purchase, maintaining their current home or preparing for selling. I have developed a systematic and methodical approach to inspecting a home from the inside, out and top to bottom. I understand that my customers value an objective third party evaluation. My home inspection can assist them in evaluating their choices and save then money. Therefore, when I perform a home inspection for my customers I do so as if the inspection was for me.
Most of my clients come from referrals and some from real estate professionals that apprectate quality service and want satisfied buyers. E-mail gregb@triad.rr.com or phone me at 336-380-5240 for information.
Your report will include many photos of the defects with detailed explanations and information, a summary list of items in need of repair, photos of the various areas, mechanical systems, and important maintenance information.
I have been an active full time licensed North Carolina home inspector since 2004. I provide home inspections the year around and do so full time. In my early college years I was employed as a construction laborer or "gopher". I bought my first house at the age of 22 (a small 3 bedroom "fixer upper") and with some materials and my efforts, modestly improved the value of this house. Since then and over the past 30 years I ave owned numerous homes -- some were fixer uppers including our present home built in 1948; two were new that I built. I have done repairs, renovations, additions, and rehabilitation to these homes and homes for other homeowners.
Many of the defects I have discovered during my inspections are ones that I have personally dealt with and repaired myself in the past. I am a college graduate and have lived in Burlington N.C. for over 20 years. My wife Anne is a professor at Elon University.
